About Me

I love books.  Big ones, small ones, paperback, hardcover — it makes no difference.  My idea of heaven is an infinite library with a comfy chair and a fireplace.

Reading is a real source of joy for me.  Sometimes it’s escapism, sometimes informative and always intriguing.  My love for reading can be traced back to my fourth grade teacher at Boyce Elementary, Ms. Nan Keller.  She read Katherine Patterson’s Bridge to Terabithia and it touched me and inspired me to read and read voraciously.  And since then, I haven’t stopped.  I may take breaks — sometimes for weeks at a time — but reading is never far away in my heart or my mind.

This website is a way for me to express my joy or disappointment with the literary world.  Sometimes it might be industry gossip, a rant or rave about favorite/beloved authors or the ones that I just don’t get.
