My Cup Overfloweth
Or should I say my bookcases? Just for fun as I was straightening up my bookcases I decided to see what I had to read this year — since whittling down my TBR piles is a major goal for 2008.
I have 151 Trade Paperbacks, 42 Hardbacks and 450 Mass Markets. Ummm. I gots lots of reading to do! And my Amazon Wish List is over 11 pages.
My name is Shelly and I’m addicted to books.

Sheesh, and I thought mine of a little over 300 was bad. Maybe there should be an addicted to books club somewhere out there. Love the new layout!

I refuse to count! My husband can’t make me! Especially if you include my (soon to be added to) pull list at the comic book store. It is very, very bad to live close to a discount book store… (And we won’t talk about Audiobooks, either.)
I’m not addicted, really

I’m a junkie too. But I’m happy about it!

My name’s Misa and I’m addicted to books, too! And I can’t think of a better addiction to have. What a fun site, Shelly. I’m glad I happened upon it. =)

I think I’m in that neighborhood, too.
Still, this is how I look at it:
1. Less fattening than Starbucks
2. Less smelly than all the litter pans required for hoarding cats
3. Less life-threatening than cigarettes
Given all that, we should celebrate our addiction!

I know how you feel. I’m contemplating getting rid of a piece of furniture so I can fit another bookcase in my loungeroom. Apparently 3 aren’t enough.

Haven’t went blog hopping in awhile. Shame on me! ^^;;
I did a similar count of my shelves and came up with about 140 books. Since then I’ve read about 8… I’ve got a long way to go. This year I’m not buying any new books that I haven’t read, unless they’re part of series that are still being released. But this gives me the chance to buy old favorites that I’ve been putting off adding to my library for years.

Yep, I’m obsessed to. I’m having an issue getting to my shelf right now as we are in the middle of reno, and junk just seems to get tossed in the library/computer room!
