Late to the Party

As usual I have to wait and see how something is going to work out before I actually believe the hype and use it myself. Like Bloglines. I’ve had an account forever but have never actively used it. So I go crazy clicking on all my blogroll to see who has updated. That takes a while. I could have been checking on Bloglines but oooooh no, I just couldn’t get on the band wagon.
Now I’m wondering what else I’m missing out on that would make my life a lot easier. I’ve got a MySpace page (actually 2!) which I check once in a while (I check the Bewitched page a lot more than my personal page). I have a Facebook profile but I never go there and countless people have asked me to join Twitter — which I haven’t even gone to the website. I want to streamline my life, not clutter it up more.
Anyone have any suggestion to something just WONDERFUL that I’ve missed while living in my cave or acting out my “parent-like” tendencies to not become more technologically advanced?

Google Reader is awesome. Seriously. It’s way better than bloglines (from what I hear) and I’d recommend it. Super user friendly.
I really like your template, btw. Oh, and I’m Holly from Book Binge. I’m not sure how I found you, but I’ll be checking back.
